I recently had the opportunity to travel with my 8Th grade class to Washington, D.C. on a field trip. It was AMAZING! We saw SO much while we were there. I only had one problem with going on this trip..... we had to fly! Being from a small town, i had never flown before... so as you might guess i was just a little nervous. Well long story short, i made it safe to D.C. and safely back! YAY! I am so appreciative of my teacher and all of the Chaperone's the tagged along with us and kept us all safe! My point in this post was not to explain all about my trip, it was to use this as an example. Maybe your wondering whtthis could be used for as an example... well... my example is that sure, i was very nervous to fly on the plane to D.C., but God kept me safe and made sure that i made it there safe and sound along with my class mates. So don't be afraid to go new places and try new things!:)

WOW! I guess that I have never really realized how many blessings we have in our life. God has blessed us with SO many opportunity's. I just recently had the opportunity to try out for the JV Cheerleading Squad at our local Highschool and i made it!It was an amazing experience and i have to give God the honor for giving me the talent to be able to make the cheerleading squad.
Sometimes i guess that we don't realize the blessings that we recieve, we focus on the negitive things in our life, the doors God closes. But lets just think a minute..... God closes doors but if you notice he opens a door to something that is probably better than the last. He might not open the door right away, but I promise you that he will open one when he feels the time is right.

Dont think that just because he hasnt answered your prayers yet that he is not there becase he is! I'll let Dad tell the story behind this billboard.

Dad here ...... This billboard is located on Interstate 10 just east of Live Oak, on the west bound side. We have passed this billboard probably 20 times over the past couple of years, it always sneaks up on us and we have never gotten a picture of it.

This past Saturday 5 of us from the Lee First United Methodist Church attended a workshop in Lake City. On the way back home, we passed it again, and missed the opportunity to get a shot. Well, I made the statement that we always miss that sign and that Faith really wanted it for her website. Well the next exit about 2 miles up we get off of the Interstate????? Pastor Q (Quackenbush) said are going back to get a shot of that sign for Faith's website. So, eight miles to the next exit, and 8 miles back to the sign, and BrotherG (Greg) snapped the shot you see here.

Chick-fil-A : Happy Birthday Jesus !!!

My family and I were in Pigeon Forge for Christmas this year. On the way to Walmart on Christmas day (to buy a memory stick for my new camera), we passed a Chick-fil-A, and this is what me and my Dad saw. The sign said "Happy Birthday Jesus". AWESOME! Thank you Chick-fil-A for spreading the good news!

Also, about 2 months ago we visited a Chick-fil-A closer to home, and as we were walking out, the lady at the counter, thanked us for visiting Chick-fil-A, and followed that with "May God Bless You". This meant a lot to me!!! Thank you again Chick-fil-A!
